Dartmouth Medical School

Dartmouth Medical School (DMS) encompasses 16 clinical and basic science departments, the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI), the C. Everett Koop Institute, and an influential array of multidisciplinary programs and partnerships. Sponsored research funding exceeds $110 million. There are more than 2,100 DMS faculty, including 669 full-time faculty, as well as part-time and adjunct members throughout New England and across the country.

DMS offers MD, PhD, MPH and MS degrees, as well as combined degree programs. The study body has a diverse mix of about 600 medical and graduate students.

DMS facilities comprise the Vail-Remsen complex, Dana Biomedical Library and Rope Ferry Road offices on the Dartmouth College campus and the Borwell Research Building, the Barbara E. Rubin Building, and Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library at DHMC.
