Edward J. Merrens, MD
Edward J. Merrens, MD, graduated from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School. He performed his medical residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, and chief residency at Seattle's County Hospital, Harborview Medical Center. He developed the concept of a Hospital Medicine program at DHMC in 2004 and now leads the section, which is one of the largest in the Department of Medicine. He also serves as team physician for the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Biathlon Team.
Dr. Merrens is a Trustee of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic, and a member of the following committees: Committee on Trustees, Finance and Quality and Credentials.
