Timothy D. Scherer, MD

Dr. Scherer is Medical Director of D-H Nashua, where he has worked as an Attending Physician since 2002, specializing in general clinical gastroenterology, hepatology and advanced pancreaticobiliary endoscopy.

Tim is a graduate of State University of New York in Brooklyn, NY (1996), and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (1996-1999). He obtained his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA (1999-2002) where he received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award (1999).

Tim has been the recipient of New Hampshire Magazine's "Top Doctor" for Gastroenterology numerous times. He is the founder of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Southern Region GI Tumor Board at Saint Joseph Hospital in Nashua and the co-founder of the Multidisciplinary GI Tumor Clinic at Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Manchester. Tim also founded a Gastrointestinal Cancer Navigator Program currently running in Nashua, Keene and Manchester. He currently practices at St. Joseph Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
