Going to Ghana? Or elsewhere in Africa?
DMS alumna Joyce Sackey

DMS alumna Joyce Sackey, a native of Ghana who is now a dean at Tufts, coauthored a chapter on Ghana in a new book that was coedited by a member of the DMS faculty.

Ghana is one of the countries featured in a soon-to-be-published book coedited by Dr. Lisa Adams, the director of Dartmouth's Global Health Initiative at the Dickey Center for International Understanding and a 1990 DMS graduate.

The book, published under the Dartmouth imprint of University Press of New England, is a practical guide for people planning to travel to Africa to work in health care. The chapter on Ghana was coauthored by Dr. Joyce Sackey, a 1989 DMS graduate. Sackey, the dean for multicultural affairs and global health at Tufts University School of Medicine, is a native of Ghana.
