Perspectives: Looking at Artworks
LOCATION: Auditorium D, DHMC
Perspectives offers an opportunity for individuals with memory disorders and their care partners to visit the world-class work by local and regional artisits curently featured at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Looking at art is an activity that can be especially enjoyable and beneficial to those with Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders. Art-viewing utilizes areas of the brain unaffected by the disease; it can stimulate thoughts, reactions and emotions with minimal reliance on recent memory.
This program is presented in collaboration with D-H Arts Program.
Note: Both the care partner and the person with dementia should register. Contact AgingCenter@hitchcock.org or call 603.653.3460 for more information or to sign up.
