Music Together©: Generations — Become a Musical Grandfriend!
Music Together© is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement curriculum where children (birth - 5 yrs) and the adults who love them engage in informal singing, chanting, moving, listening and instrument-playing activities that are developmentally appropriate for very young children. In Music Together© Generations, "Music Grandfriends" join the circle for the joyous music-making as well as for building meaningful interpersonal connections and musical relationships across the ages. Classes will take place at the D-H Aging Resource Center so that older adults can join these gatherings of parents and children. The class meets every Thursday from September 14 to November 16 (ten sessions) from 9:30 to 10:15am. There will be an open house on Thursday, September 7 from 9:30 to 10:15am.
Note: There is no cost for the older adults participating as "grandfriends," but we encourage a 10-week commitment to participate. Materials are NOT included or required, but can be purchase through Music Together©.
