UVSC/ARC Music Together© Generations Open House
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement curriculum where children (birth - 5 yrs) and adults who love them, engage in informal singing, chanting, moving, listening and instrument-playing activities developmentally appropriate for very young children. In Music Together Generations, “Musical Grandfriends” join the circle for the joyous music-making as well as for building meaningful interpersonal connections and musical relationships across the ages.
Classes will be at the D-H Aging Resource Center Annex at the Upper Valley Senior Center so that older adults can join the gatherings of parents and children. This program is co-sponsored by the Upper Valley Music Center and the Aging Resource Center.
This open house will give you an opportunity to try out this experience.
The class meets every Thursday from January 11 to March 22 (ten sessions and no class on February 22) from 10 to 10:45am.
Note: There is no cost for the older adults participating as “grandfriends”. Materials are not included or required, but can be borrowed from the Aging Resource Center’s library.
