Gallbladder & Pancreas

The pancreas is a flat, pear-shaped gland about six inches long. It is located behind the stomach, and its job is to make insulin and other hormones, as well as enzymes for digestion. Insulin helps the body use sugar as fuel.

The gallbladder is located under the liver, and stores bile. The pancreas is connected to the small intestine at the duodenum.
