The digestive system includes the esophagus (swallowing tube), the stomach, the intestines, the liver, the gallbladder, and the pancreas. The digestive system is also known as the gastrointestinal system.

Our Gastroenterology Department examines patients with abdominal pain, and diagnoses and treats all digestive system disorders. Our primary focus is on the care of the adult patient.

For patients

• We host regular colonoscopy information sessions. If you are unable to attend, you can take the session online. You must be referred to the colonoscopy information session by your family doctor (primary care physician, or PCP).
• Procedures may be done in our office, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center or St. Joseph Hospital.
