If your situation requires attention from specialists, we will work closely with specially trained physicians at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
You may choose to see one provider during your prenatal appointments, but we encourage you meet a variety of providers so that you have a chance to get to know them all and discuss what's important to you during your pregnancy and birth.
Hospital coverage for deliveries and emergencies for our patients will rotate between both physicians and midwives. The midwives will cover for laboring patients and their deliveries during regular daytime hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) on weekdays. The physicians will be available anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and would be available for daytime consultations.
If you were to go into labor during the weekend or evening hours, our physicians would be on call.
