Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. At least 5.3 million Americans live with traumatic brain injury-related disabilities. Children and older adults are especially at high risk for traumatic brain injury or “TBI.”

In this video, Roxcy shares some information about TBI, including some of causes and symptoms that are often neglected after a trauma to the brain:

  • Impatience
  • Loss of memory
  • Vision problems
  • Personality changes
  • Mood swings
  • Trouble processing language
