Chris O'Connell graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a Masters in Nursing Education. Prior to joining the Trauma Program Chris served as a flight and transport nurse for Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART) for 12 years and as the DHART Clinical Educator for three years. He also worked eight years as an ICU nurse at DHMC and is a Colonel in the Army Reserve.

Gwendolyn Fulton earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY. She has been employed at DHMC in several capacities for the past 28 years. Her career started as a staff nurse on the medical/surgical floor, and then over several years she worked on the neurology, orthopedics, and urology floors. After leaving the bedside, she worked for several years in Care Management coordinating high tech discharges, and then moved on to the technical realm of health care assisting in the development and implementation of the Clinical Information System. She is now part of the Trauma team managing the DHMC trauma registry.

Ellen McKinnon received her graduate nursing degree from the University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing in 2002. She specializes in acute care of general surgery patients.

Nancy Trottier has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Vermont and is licensed in Vermont as a Clinical Social Worker. She started working at DHMC as the Trauma Social Worker in July of 2005.

Jim Whedon manages the DHMC Trauma Registry. He graduated from the University of Maine and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College, St. Louis, MO. He has over 12 years experience in private practice, specializing in the care of stress-related spinal problems, and has written extensively on topics in preventive health and integrative medicine. He gained experience with databases and medical informatics in the management of medical websites and a health information company. Jim is a member of the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research and the American Trauma Society.
