Chief Strategy Officer

Stephen J. LeBlanc

Stephen J. LeBlanc joined Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H) in 1987 and has served in various senior leadership roles in operations, finance and administration. Named Chief Strategy Officer for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH) system in 2017, LeBlanc oversees D-HH's strategic planning and regional network development and is responsible for D-H's payer relationships and risk contract performance. He also serves as the Executive Director for the New England Alliance for Health, a shared services organization with 18 member institutions. LeBlanc's other prior roles included Chief Administrative Officer, Executive Vice President for Strategy and Network Relations and Chief Operating Officer for Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

LeBlanc serves on a number of D-HH system member and affiliate Boards of Trustees, is a board member of OneCare Vermont and former Chair of the New Hampshire Hospital Association Board. Before coming to D-H, he served as a supply corps officer in the Unites States Navy, working primarily for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program in Washington, D.C.

LeBlanc received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College. He is a graduate of the United States Navy's Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, and the United States Navy's Supply Corps School in Athens, Georgia.
