Laura K. Landy, MBA

Laura was named President and CEO of the Rippel Foundation in 2006 and has served as a Trustee since 1998. She is also the Founder and Chair of ReThink Health, the Foundation’s flagship initiative. Laura serves on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Boards of Trustees.

Throughout her career, Laura has brought sound business and strategic thinking to pressing social issues. As President of Applied Concepts, a consulting firm she established in 1983, she helped address changing dynamics in health, higher education, finance, social services and culture. Her health-related activities include work with Pfizer, the State of New Jersey, AT&T and various urban health systems.

Laura’s expertise in entrepreneurship and corporate venturing led to her creation of the Institute for Nonprofit Entrepreneurship at NYU’s Stern School of Business, where she also taught and served as Associate Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. She has been a member of the adjunct faculty of Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon, the New School and Fairleigh Dickinson. Laura received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She received her MBA from New York University, and is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.
