What is the Automated Prescription Refill Call-in line?
The Automated Prescription Refill Call-in line utilizes an interactive voice response (IVR) system to allow patients to submit prescription refills 24 hours a day without having to speak to a pharmacy staff member.
Refills can be entered into the automated system using the seven-digit prescription number, highlighted on the top left of the prescription label.
You may select a pick-up time that is convenient for you when calling in a refill on the automated line.
Do I need to make an appointment to have my blood pressure checked?
No. A pharmacist is available to check your blood pressure without an appointment during pharmacy business hours.

What is a Brown Bag event and what can I expect if I sign up for one?
A Brown Bag event is a scheduled appointment with a pharmacist. Patients are encouraged to bring all prescription and over-the-counter medications to review with the pharmacist.
At the event, the pharmacist will:
- Review each medication
- Review the medication’s prescribed use
- Discuss common side effects
- Review the best practices for taking the medication
- Provide suggestions to overcome any concerns about taking the medication
- Answer all of your questions regarding the medication

What medications can be placed in the Drug Take Back Box?
You can put the following medications in the Drug Take Back Box:
- Unused or expired prescription medication
- Unused or expired over-the-counter medication
- Pet medication
Please do not put the following items in the Drug Take Back Box:
- Schedule I controlled substances
- Illegal drugs
- Aerosol Cans
- Lotions or liquids
- Hydrogen Peroxide
The Drug Take Back Box is available at all sites during retail store hours (*retail store hours only at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Pharmacy at Centerra)
What Immunizations can I receive from your pharmacy and do I need a prescription?
You do not need a prescription to receive an immunization at our pharmacies.
If you are 18 years old or older, you can receive the following immunizations, without an appointment and often in less than 20 minutes.
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
The pharmacy will enter your immunization into your electronic medical record or fax your immunization documentation to your Primary Care Provider (PCP) for their records.
What if I can’t make it to pick up my prescriptions?
D-H Pharmacy and D-H Pharmacy at Centerra can mail prescriptions to you if you live in one of the following states:
- NH, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, MA, ME, NY, PA and VT
- Please note: Certain prescriptions require a signature at delivery. Please ask the pharmacy team for additional details.
How do I sign up for mail?
Simply call the pharmacy to speak to a pharmacy staff member and ask to be set up for mailing. Please have the following information available:
- Date of Birth
- Mailing address
- A choice of USPS or FedEx
- Credit card to place on file with secure encryption
Due to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations we are unable to mail diabetic testing supplies paid for by Medicare B.
Can I have my prescriptions mailed to me every time?
Auto-Ship is offered to customers who would like their medications mailed to them automatically.
Auto-Ship allows all refilled medications that are called in by the patient or doctor to be filled and mailed without further pharmacy follow-up.
Auto-Ship is only available if the copay is below $500.
- If the prescription is new, there is a direction/dose change, or the copay is over $500 you will receive a call from one our pharmacists to offer counseling prior to shipping.
Auto-ship will not automatically refill prescriptions. A refill request or Time My Meds enrollment must accompany Auto- Ship.
When and how will my prescription be mailed?
Any mailed item will be processed within 2 business days.
You may elect to receive your prescriptions via USPS or FedEx.
- All refrigerated medications will be sent via FedEx Express overnight for no additional charge.
- If mailing to a P.O. Box it must be delivered via USPS.
Select prescriptions will require a signature upon receipt.
- Example: ADHD, ADD, Pain, Hepatitis C medications or medications paid for by Medicare B.
When outside temperatures fall below 28°F or rise above 86°F your mail order shipment may be delayed. Medication may become damaged under extreme weather conditions.
- To request exceptions and to be updated on the status of your prescription please contact your mail order pharmacy.
Can I request to have my prescription sent overnight or have a signature required?
Yes. You may have your prescription mailed overnight for a $23 fee and / or elect to have a signature required for a $5 fee.
NOTE: These fees are for elected services only. If your prescription meets our standard policies for requiring overnight or signature services, there is no additional charge.
What if my address, credit card or insurance information change?
Please contact us at (855) 280-3893 and choose to speak with a pharmacy representative to update this information at your earliest convenience and before your next refill.
The pharmacy is not responsible for prescriptions that are lost or damaged in the mail. Replacement prescription costs will be determined by and at the discretion of the patient’s insurance carrier.
What is MScripts?
MScripts is a mobile app for iOS and Android. MScripts features include:
- The ability to choose your preferred communication – email or text
- Refill reminders for on-going medications
- Alerts when prescriptions are ready for pick up at the pharmacy
- Daily reminders to take medication at the right time
- Full access to prescription information including: prescription number, drug name and strength, directions for use, prescribing physician, refills remaining, estimated due date for refill, and last fill date.
What is Time My Meds?
A program to synchronize and automatically fill maintenance medications.
Can all my medications go on Time My Meds?
No. Controlled medications, medications that are used on an as-needed basis or medications that last less than 21 days are not eligible for Time My Meds.
What if my medications change?
Customers are responsible for updating their Time My Meds information with pharmacy staff. Copays for medications enrolled in Time My Meds which have been sold and / or mailed will not be refunded.

Signing up is easy. Call the pharmacy and ask to be enrolled in Time My Meds.
