Perspectives: Looking at Art
LOCATION: Auditorium D, DHMC
"Perspectives" offers an opportunity for individuals with memory disorders and their care partners to visit the world-class work by local and regional artisits who are curently featured at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Looking at art is an activity that can be especially enjoyable and beneficial to those with Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders. Art-viewing utilizes areas of the brain unaffected by the disease; it can stimulate thoughts, reactions and emotions with minimal reliance on recent memory.
This program is presented in collaboration with D-H Arts Program.
The presenters in the coming months are:
February: Neysa Russo https://thefeltingstudio.com/
March: Liz Hawkes deNiord https://www.lizhawkesdeniord.com/
