Mindfulness and Compassion for Stress and Burnout – Web-ex
‘Infusing’ Practices into a Busy Life
There is increasing evidence to support the positive effect that mindfulness and compassion can have an effect on stress and burnout. In addition, these practices can help prevent and manage a variety of physical and/or emotional conditions.
Please join Shiri Macri, licensed mental health clinician, D-H Employee Wellness Program, in this four-week series to explore these practices. Goals of the series include:
- Infusing these practices in daily living
- Gaining a deeper understanding of how the practices relate to healthy behaviors
- Developing skills and strategies
- Completion of short home practices*
Series runs Mondays, May 4, 11, 18 and Wednesday, May 27, 8:05am- 8:55am
D-H employees who would like to reduce and/or prevent stress and burnout are invited to attend (via Web-ex).
*A workbook which will include links to specific short meditations for home practice will be provided as part of the series.
