VIRTUAL - More Zentangle
Leader: Lora Gerard, MPA
Zentangle is an easy, accessible method to draw abstract works of art in a mindful way. You do not need any previous art experience. If you can write your name, you can create a beautiful finished work! Artists are welcome, however- it can be a helpful tool for focusing and can be worked into many other art forms.
In this ongoing, weekly class, we will learn at least one new tangle pattern and complete at least one tile. Each class stands alone, so if you miss one you can still register for future offerings. We do require registration so we know who to expect on each week’s Zoom session.
What do I need to participate at home?
If you took a class at the Aging Resource Center previously, please use your kit. For those who have not:
-Paper (any kind will do, though if you have drawing or art paper that is ideal) cut into 3.5 inch by 3.5 inch squares
- Pencil (a standard school pencil is fine)
- Pen (a black pen with a relatively fine tip is ideal, but a ballpoint will work great. Just pick your favorite pen for writing)
- Blending tool (tortillons are ideal, but you can also use a q-tip or a clean sponge makeup applicator of the type used for eyeshadow)
We strongly recommend that you have taken a Beginner Zentangle course, either with Lora or another certified instructor, before you begin these classes. Please be added to a list to be notified when we add additional classes of Beginner Zentangle. to
You will receive a zoom link for this class 60 minutes before the class starts. The zoom link will be sent directly to the email you registered with.
