Starting Monday, July 6, online programming on topics including Arts & Crafts, Movement, and STEM will be emailed out for our virtual campers to enjoy. Campers will receive weekday emails with 2-3 new virtual classes to check out. Sign up today to receive access!
It all began with an injured child, sad to be missing summer camp due to a hospital stay. Our Child Life Program, which provides support to kids in the hospital, brought camp to him, with lots of fun daily activities. The patient recovered and went home, but Camp CHaD remained, highlighting the importance of play for many years.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many children will be missing a traditional summer camp experience. Through community partnerships, CHaD is bringing virtual camp to kids free of charge — because every kid is a CHaD kid!
Camp CHaD content is brought to you through partnerships with ArtisTree Community Arts Center, New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Finding Our Stride, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS), Montshire Museum of Science, and more. Please note, most sessions will be pre-recorded for ease of viewing.
All programming is free, though donations are welcome and can be made online here. Checks can be made out to "Camp CHaD/D-HH" and mailed to CHaD Community Relations at: One Medical Center Drive Lebanon, NH 03766. Camp CHaD sponsorships and donations benefit the CHaD Child Life Program.
