How do doctors differentiate between normal age-related memory loss and dementia? Neuropsychologists play an important role in the diagnosis and management of people with neurological and psychiatric disorders, including in the identification of cognitive impairment compared to normal aging and differentiating between types of dementias. This talk is for people interested in understanding the different types of dementias and the role that neuropsychologists play in assessing and diagnosing these conditions. Drs. Janelle Eloi, PsyD, Bryce Jacobson, PsyD, and Christi Trask, PhD from the Neuropsychology Program at DHMC will hold a question and answer session at the end.
