D-H Workforce Readiness Institute: Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program Info Session
Are you a detailed person who likes to work in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy helping people, learning, and working with a team? Are you interested in having the opportunity to earn while you learn? Dartmouth-Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute is looking for motivated individuals for the Certified Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Training Program.
Up to 16 individuals will be selected and hired by Dartmouth-Hitchcock to become Certified Pharmacy Technicians in our Outpatient (retail) or Inpatient (hospital) Pharmacies in Lebanon, NH. During the 9 week training period students earn college credits and an hourly training wage. At the end of the 9 week training students will sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.
This full time hands-on training program includes both classroom and pharmacy training. Courses offered include Healthcare Professional Communication, Processing and Handling of Medications and Medication Orders, Procurement, Billing, Reimbursement, and Patient & Medication Safety.
