UVSC/ARC Travel Training for Advance Transit
Instructors: Paige Heverly
Never traveled on the Advance Transit bus system before? Worried that you may have to give up those car keys soon? Looking for ways to cut driving costs? Find the maps and schedules difficult to follow?
This class will meet at the Aging Resource Annex at the Senior Center in Lebanon. There will be a brief presentation of the basics, followed by time to answer your questions. We will then accompany those who wish to give it a try to the bus stop at the Lebanon City Hall for a ride on the Blue Route which runs between Lebanon and Hanover via Lebanon City Hall and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. There will not be time to get off the bus, but there will be an opportunity to apply what you have been taught, learn where the bus stops are, and see for yourself how courteous and helpful the drivers are. Meet at the Aging Resource Center Annex at 10 am. We'll return to the Annex by 12:15 pm. There will be a follow-up session on October 4th at 10am.
