Prospective ARNI Versus ACE Inhibitor Trial to Determine Superiority in Reducing Heart Failure Events after Myocardial Infarction
This study is for people age 18 and older who have recently had a heart attack, also known as an acute myocardial infarction (AMI) with evidence of left ventricular (LV) dysfunction and/or pulmonary congestion. The purpose of the study is to learn if Entresto" (sacubitril/valsartan, LCZ696) is superior to Ramipril, along with being safe and effective in reducing complications following a heart attack.
