Summary

This study is for people age 55 to 90 years of age who are scheduled to under open-chest heart surgery and who are willing to wear an electrocardiogram (ECG) patch for 30-days post-surgery. This study will involve injecting Botulinum Toxin Type A into the fat pads that surround the heart to prevent atrial fibrillation after open chest cardiac surgery.
