Senior Associate Director of Leadership Initiatives
Dorothy joined the Office of Development in April 2013. For nearly eight years, she was a principal fundraiser for Vermont Law School, serving for four years as vice president for advancement. She has worked for a number of conservation organizations in Washington, DC, including The Nature Conservancy, the American Farmland Trust, and the American Forestry Association. Dorothy has a BA in Botany from Miami University in Ohio. She and her husband, Jay, live on 150 acres at the base of Cardigan Mountain in Orange, N.H., where Dorothy serves as co-chair of the select board. Jay is the author of Thank You for Arguing. They have two grown children, including a daughter who is a nurse at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
