Heart & Vascular Center

Three providers with patient in hospital bed in hospital room

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Heart and Vascular Center provides expert, compassionate care to patients with a full range of diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels. Many people from our rural population come to us after preventable conditions have deteriorated into severe cardiovascular illnesses because access to adequate and timely health care is limited.

HVC CARES (Heart and Vascular Center Community Awareness Research and Education Saves Lives) is a new program intended to raise awareness of heart and vascular diseases in communities throughout the region. It includes screening tests for cardiovascular risk and educational resources to promote a heart-healthy lifestyle. The goal of the program is to provide members of the public with information that will help mitigate their risk for cardiovascular disease.

The Heart and Vascular Center Research Fund supports innovative research being conducted by D-H investigators. These research projects have a direct impact on patients with cardiovascular diseases.
