Sexual Health for Teenagers

You have the power to prevent yourself from getting sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs) or becoming pregnant. Not all forms of contraception will protect against STDs, so it is important to know how to protect yourself.

If you are sexually active or are thinking about it, it's a good idea to have an annual exam. Not only will you be able to learn more about your sexual health, you will also have a chance to have a confidential conversation about issues like your period, acne, weight, and emotional issues.
