Richard Rothstein, MD, thanks Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Care Workers.

Dakota shared this video with us: "I saw this on my way in and it really moved me. Sick kids still happen even during a pandemic, and this little boy was so thankful for our Pedi team he left this beautiful message for them."

I want to thank all the workers for their daily attention to detail as they care for the many patients that come through DHMC every day! I also wish to thank the leadership for maintaining a robust website that was so very informative during the early phase of COVID-19-- the first weeks of March. I kept directing family and friends to your website to help inform what was unfolding. Again, thank you!!

To the good folks at DHMC, nine days ago, I received word from my daughter-in-law, who is a 4th-year surgical resident at your hospital, that you all were still in need of face masks. Knowing that I was a member of a local, physically active and socially conscious group of women in the Underhill/Jericho, VT area, she guessed I might bite the bait. So here you have the fruits of our labors of love. There are 73 adult medium masks and 8 small ones for children. We hope you can put them to good use! Very best, Polly on behalf of The Mountain Mamas

[...] The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Office of Research Operations team should be recognized for their gracious patience, professionalism and expertise helping my faculty set up a clinical trial. Given the complexity of the study workflow, we could not have succeeded without Leigh and her team. This [trial] will provide us with information about exposure and immunity to COVID-19 in our population going forwards. Leigh Burgess and her team are D-HH Heroes and we thank them all.

Amber and Sandy filled more than enough easter eggs to be sure each inpatient received one with their Easter dinner tray. Our Cafe team donated the cookies, and the eggs brought some smiles. Thank you to everyone involved!

Upon returning home from a shift at DHART in early April, my husband & I needed to take our oldest son into the Emergency Department in Lebanon. We ended up being in the ER the entire night. Despite the obvious difficulties of adjusting to life in the ED with all the new protocols and procedures we were taken care of with expertise and compassion for the entire 9 hour ordeal. I don't want to name people or departments because I don't want to miss anyone but I just want to say thank you so much to everyone for the care and compassion given to me and my family. It made me proud to be a D-H employee.

Dear First Responder,
I just want you to know that I really love what you are doing. My parents are first responders themselves, so I know what you are going through. I really appreciate what you are doing. Many people are blessed to have people like you in our lives. Thank you for risking your lives to save others. Without you, there would be a lot more deaths in the world. Thank you for spending your time to meet other people's needs. You are a hero, and I am thankful for that. Thank you for making it possible to remain hopeful during these difficult times. You are in my thoughts, along with your family. Thank you for making the world a better place.

PS. RIDDLE: I speak without a mouth and I hear without ears. I have no body, but come alive with wind. What am I? :
