Dartmouth-Hitchcock Merrimack provides comprehensive primary care in Family Medicine to you and your entire family, including infants and the elderly. We value long-term relationships with you, and aim to have you participate in your plans of care. Such care includes physical exams, immunizations, routine screenings, and treatment of short-term injuries or illnesses.
If you are a new patient, you will select one of our staff physicians to be your "primary care provider" (PCP). Your PCP is the doctor who is responsible for managing your care. Our specialty care providers include visiting OB/GYN physicians who offer routine and prenatal care for women.
In addition, we have quick and easy access to specialty care from within the Dartmouth-Hitchcock system, including the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) and Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
We are committed to individual and family health promotion. We believe that family medicine is a continuous, comprehensive, and compassionate way to coordinate care for you and your family. We treat the whole person and the whole family.
