Honoring Health Care Heroes: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Recognizes Our D-HH Heroes
Over the past few weeks, there has been tremendous community support for health care workers across the country as they tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. Gestures of hope and encouragement help brighten the long and challenging days that these staff members are facing, and will continue to face over the next few months.
To help provide a creative outlet and to help capture the impact of these expressions of “thanks,” Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH) has launched D-HH Heroes. This is an opportunity to publically recognize, share and send thank you messages to the incredible employees working under the challenging demands of COVID-19.
“We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the community and the level of care and encouragement that D-HH employees have shown not only one another, but their colleagues who are on the frontlines across the country,” said Aimee Giglio, Chief Human Resources Office for D-HH. “The natural next step was to create this digital location where they could share their comments, as well as those that we are receiving from the public.”
We welcome and invite the public to send messages of thanks to the heroic doctors, nurses, support staff, those in facilities and supply chain, or the many unsung heroes in clinical support, environmental services, food and nutrition, laboratory, pharmacy and call centers. Those messages are representative of the torrent of public encouragement to health care workers at large across the country and globe.
Messages, photos or artwork can be submitted by using this form. These messages will be shared on the D-HH Heroes website, social media channels and on digital monitors throughout D-HH facilities.
