The Power of Giving
Barbara Blough has always walked the talk when it comes to supporting Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine—as an employee, a volunteer, and a donor.
When Rebecca Rose Tabat faced incurable cancer, she created Cure with Hope to comfort kids in the hospital. Now her organization has pledged $100,000 to the CHaD inpatient unit revitalization.
Inspired by Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s vision, an anonymous donor made a $10 million gift to launch the Center for Palliative and Hospice Care.
A program funded by a grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations offers support to patients facing tough medical decisions, while cultivating patient-centered perspectives in future doctors.
