The Walter and Carole Young Pancreas Center provides care for pancreatic and biliary conditions. Our center is one of 30 National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) Centers. The NPF is an organization that provides hope for people with these conditions. As an NPF Center, we treat the "whole patient" for the best possible outcomes and an improved quality of life. This designation helps develop high-quality, multidisciplinary care approaches.
We work with community physicians, allied health professionals, patients, and families. We lead the way for awareness and understanding of pancreatitis and related conditions.
As an NPF Center, we meet all the criteria developed by their subject matter experts and patient advocates. That includes having required expert physician specialties and patient focused programs such as:
