Boards of Trustees

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Boards of Trustees are a dedicated group of individuals who work diligently to ensure that Dartmouth-Hitchcock is well positioned to advance health and to achieve the healthiest population possible in our region and beyond.

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Boards of Trustees consist of public trustees, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic physician trustees, and the following Ex-officio trustee members: the President of Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, the President of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic, the Dean of Geisel School of Medicine, the President of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, and the President of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Auxiliary.

The Trustees volunteer their time to serve for a three-year term and may be elected for a maximum of four consecutive terms. The Trustees annually elect the Chairs of the Boards for one-year terms. While the majority of Trustees live in New Hampshire and Vermont, some are from the West Coast, Midwest and Southeast.

Additionally, all Dartmouth-Hitchcock Trustees are members of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Assembly of Overseers—a 400 member body consisting of Dartmouth-Hitchcock advisors, ambassadors and advocates.
