Parking for Your Appointment
Your appointment letter will suggest which parking location is best for your appointment.
Follow signs to the main entrance of the Faulkner Building and Parking Garage. The Parking Garage has a direct entrance to the fourth level of the Faulkner Building.
Parking When Visiting Patients in the Hospital
Follow signs to North Entrance Visitor Parking.
Note: All DHMC entrances will be locked daily between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am, except at the following locations:
- North Entrance is open between the hours of 5:00 am and 11:00 pm
- Emergency Entrance is open 24 hours. Please do not use the Emergency Entrance for non-emergency reasons between the hours of 5:00 am and 11:00 pm.
Parking for the Disabled
A number of handicap accessible parking spaces are available at the Main Entrance, North Entrance, and Parking Garage. Handicap spaces in the Parking Garage are located on every level next to the elevators. Below please find maps to aid in finding accessible parking:

Special Needs Parking Assistance
Special needs parking is offered as a free service to those persons who, because of a disability or condition, are not able to reach the hospital entrance by their own power and do not have the necessary assistance from family or friends. Special assistance is also available if the patient's escort must remain with the patient for safety or direct care/observation needs.
For those eligible for Special Needs parking the parking attendant will park your car for you and retrieve it after the appointment is over.
Parking assistance is available at:
- The Main Entrance from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
So that we may help insure the service is available for patients needing this help, we ask that you do not request assisted parking unless you meet the guidelines noted above.
Wheelchairs are available at all patient entrances. Wheelchair assistance and escorts are available at the Main Entrance and Faulkner Building Entrance for those who may have difficulty walking.
To protect your safety, we discourage the use of wheelchairs in the Parking Garage.
