A pulmonologist is a medical doctor who evaluates, diagnoses and treats disorders of the chest, of breathing and of the lungs including:

  • Asthma
  • Emphysema
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Alpha one antitrypsin Deficiency Emphysema

The Department of Pulmonary Medicine offers a personalized approach to care. We work with other specialists as necessary to ensure all aspects of a patient's condition is properly managed. Our pulmonologists will evaluate adults in consultation upon referral from their primary care provider (PCP) and will work closely with them to develop an appropriate plan of care.

In addition to providing pulmonary medicine services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, our Manchester doctors also provide intensive care services in the Catholic Medical Center intensive care unit (ICU) in Manchester.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock offers Pulmonary services in Keene, Lebanon, Nashua and Manchester, NH.
