Across our region, we are seeing increasingly urgent needs for basic services as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Your generosity will help provide immediate relief to people throughout our region and to our health care workers. 100% of funds raised will support community organizations, individuals, and families in need—with no administrative fees incurred.
Dartmouth Health COVID-19 Community Relief Fund
This fund will provide financial assistance across the Dartmouth Health service region to organizations working to support those who are suffering from the economic, social, and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This fund will be managed by three coalitions of regional social service, non-profit organizations.
On-the-ground organizations have great wisdom in knowing how to use limited resources and in identifying urgent and emerging needs at the local level as circumstances change. Dartmouth Health is partnering with these organizations to ensure that funds are distributed quickly and effectively to address such needs as food insecurity, housing challenges and homelessness, family and child supports, and services for senior citizens.
Dartmouth Health HOPE Fund
This fund provides grants to Dartmouth Health employees facing extraordinary financial difficulties. At a time when our doctors, nurses, and other caregivers are stepping up to meet one of the greatest challenges we have witnessed in health care, many of them are also facing difficult personal circumstances. Your support is urgently needed to help the caregivers we rely on to care for our community.
Personal protective equipment and resources
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues, our purchasing and supply chain teams are working day and night to secure the resources needed to care for our patients, and to keep our workers safe. Meanwhile, costs have risen dramatically.
Your gift to the COVID-19 Response/PPE Fund will support the purchase of essential supplies— gloves, masks, respirators, cleaning supplies, and other resources—that our staff depend on to provide the best and safest care. Gifts of any size can have a major impact on the lives of our patients and our staff.
