Summary

People with CF often get lung infections. The germs that cause these infections can live in the mucous, or sputum, in the lungs. Sometimes people with Cystic Fibrosis grow fungus in their lungs. One of the types of fungus they can grow is Aspergillus fumigatus. The purpose of this study is to determine how the characteristics of Aspergillus change over time and how Aspergillus impacts the bacteria in the lungs of patients with CF.
