Summary

Our long-term goal is to establish equivalent functional and pain-related outcomes and improved cost-effectiveness and patient compliance with VR-based PT. The VR-based PT platform is currently under development in collaboration with Kairos XR (San Fransisco, CA) and an expert focus group that includes surgeons and physical therapists from several academic institutions. This team has developed a basic platform for administration of VR based physical therapy. The purpose of this study is to refine the platform and establish feasibility and acceptability, evaluate anticipated compliance and solicit subjects for feedback on the current approach.
