Tom Manion, MPADartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), Dartmouth Health’s flagship hospital and New Hampshire’s only Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2025 list of 100 great hospitals in America. Becker’s annual top hospital ranking honors hospitals for their devotion to optimizing healthcare locally and nationwide. Other honorees include Boston Children’s Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Mayo Clinic.
In its ranking, Becker’s praises DHMC for its mission of delivering premier academic medicine while setting the national standard for rural healthcare delivery. The list also notes the value of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART), DHMC’s air and land medical transport service, and its network of Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics across New Hampshire and Vermont, in bolstering the overall value of DHMC to the Twin State region.
