CREST Case Reviews

CREST offers its members the opportunity to participate in monthly Case Reviews. Quality Assurance Case Reviews are designed to better understand the activities surrounding a specific episode of patient care. The purpose of this review is to improve the quality of care delivered to our patients, not to assign blame or assess liability.

  • 1st Wednesday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00 pm – Trauma Case Review
  • 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00 pm – Emergency Medicine Case Review

Email us if you have any questions or need access at crest@hitchcock.org.

By participating in these sessions, participants will be able to recognize the challenges in rural transfers and develop a streamlined process; discuss a variety of protocols (STEMI, stroke, blunt trauma, intubation, intravenous lines, etc.) for use in acute care; and describe the importance of the "golden hour" in trauma through interactive case-based discussions.

For more information on how to participate or to submit a case for review, please email us. Download the Case Review Request Form (PDF).
