Summary

A chronic subdural hematoma is a collection of blood outside of the brain but inside the skull. These collections can be very difficult to treat due to a variety of factors and often have high recurrence rates. The objective of this study is to investigate if occlusion of the artery which supplies the area surrounding the hematoma leads to improved outcomes.
