Weight Center Research and Clinical Trials

We participate in advanced clinical trials for:

We also participate in investigator-initiated research to advance our understanding and treatment of obesity as a disease.

Our clinical trials

When you take part in a clinical trial, you have access to some obesity treatments before they are available to the public. You will receive convenient, close-to-home access to innovative clinical trials. These trials include a range of obesity treatment options, without the need to travel to a major city.

Anti-obesity medication trials

Our team engages in:

  • Clinical trials to expand the indications for existing anti-obesity medications
  • Research to study the safety and effectiveness of new anti-obesity medications

Device trials

We participate in groundbreaking research on devices that reduce stomach size and delay gastric emptying. These devices:

  • May promote enhanced weight loss and reduce hunger signals
  • Offer minimally invasive obesity care

Endoscopic trials

Our researchers are exploring how medications, devices, and bariatric endoscopy procedures can help patients achieve their health goals.

Lifestyle trials

Our researchers are exploring how nutrition, culinary, and exercise interventions help patients achieve their health goals.

Weight Center Clinical Registry

The Clinical Registry collects patient-level data to gain a better understanding of how to treat patients with obesity and related medical complications.
