New patients
When you visit us, we will evaluate your pain or injury and provide consultation on the best plan for treatment. At your first appointment, we will make an evaluation of your condition and make recommendations for further testing that may be necessary. We treat many conditions through non-surgical means. It is our philosophy that, whenever possible, you should first try non-surgical treatment options before considering surgery.
Note: Some health insurance policies require that you have a referral from your family doctor (primary care provider, or PCP) to make an appointment. Please review your health insurance coverage before calling for an appointment.

For referring physicians
To refer a patient for consultation in the Department of Orthopaedics, contact the Physician Connection Center. You also may contact a Department of Orthopaedics section, program, or location directly.

Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm unless noted otherwise below:
- Cheshire Medical Center: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Nashua: Dr. Nicholas Horangic is available for appointments at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Nashua 2 1/2 days per month.
