Our team provides comprehensive, sub-specialty surgical pathology and laboratory medicine expertise to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H) academic medical center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and regionally throughout the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health care system.

Accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the newly renovated, semi-automated, LEAN-processed clinical laboratories provide a menu of complex diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic tests in the disciplines of:

  • Clinical chemistry
  • Cytogenetics
  • Cytology
  • Hematology
  • Hematopathology
  • Microbiology
    • Virology
  • Molecular pathology
  • Surgical pathology
  • Transfusion medicine (including a blood donor program)

The Department processes over 3 million clinical tests a year with a third of that volume originating from D-H clinics and practices in the southern region of New Hampshire (Manchester and Nashua).
