Our Mood Disorders Clinic specializes in the evaluation, treatment, and study of mood disorders. The most common forms of these illnesses are major depression, bipolar disorder, and dysthymia (persistent mild depression).

We also prove advanced brain stimulation and interventional treatments for mood disorders. Mood disorders is a consultation-based and procedural service so you would stay with your current provider for ongoing management.

We offer advanced treatments for treatment-resistant depression (TRD), such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive treatment for stimulating neurons in the brain using a magnetic stimulator to relieve symptoms.

How we can help

We can help clarify your diagnosis and provide treatment options when past treatments have failed. We can provide second opinions to enhance care and discuss novel treatment options. We can also offer advanced interventional options, such as ECT, esketamine nasal spray for TRD, or TMS.

What you should expect

Your appointment will be scheduled after we receive a referral from your provider and a completed mood disorders packet. Once scheduled, appointments last about 1.5 to 2 hours.

After the appointment, a write-up of our evaluation and recommendations will be sent to your provider. You should plan to follow-up with your provider afterward. If an interventional option is recommended, our scheduler will reach out to you to coordinate.
