Body Imaging
Matthew E. Maeder, MD, Section Chief
Body Imaging is one of the largest sections in Radiology. We specialize in a wide variety of imaging studies covering the entire abdomen, pelvis, and more. One of my main goals as head of the section is to provide excellent services to our patients and providers, beginning and ending with the highest-quality images and interpretations. We are proud to always go the extra mile, and we are honored to serve the Dartmouth community and many sites across New Hampshire and Vermont.

Cardiothoracic imaging is a specialized field of radiology that focuses on imaging the heart, lungs, and chest. It encompasses a wide range of imaging techniques, including chest X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound, used to diagnose and manage a variety of cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.

Interventional Radiology

Dartmouth Hitchcock Interventional Radiology provides state-of-the-art minimally invasive image-guided procedures, from standard biopsies and central venous catheter placements to highly specialized and complex thermal ablation of tumors and intra-arterial occlusion for bleeding. The physicians, associate providers, technologists and nurses work as an integrated team to ensure successful outcomes in an environment focused on patient comfort and satisfaction.
