Social Work Training Program

We are training the next generation of social workers. Through our program, we teach Master of Social Work (MSW) students to offer care that is clinically excellent, compassionate, evidence-based, culturally competent, and patient-centered.

Placement options

The social work training program is competitive. It provides high-quality placements to foundational-year and advanced-year MSW students.

Placement options include case management, psychiatry, addiction treatment and pediatrics. For all placements, training is rigorous with highly skilled and experienced supervisors in busy, academic medical center settings.

The majority of placements begin in fall or winter. Summer internships or alternative start dates are possible depending on availability.
