Procedures Performed at the Ambulatory Surgery Center

Your surgeon may decide to perform your surgery at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). If so, your doctor's office will let you know how you can pre-register for your procedure at the ASC.

Below are the types of procedures currently performed at the ASC:

  • ENT/Otolaryngology: Ear tubes, adenoidectomies, tonsillectomies, tympanoplasties, frenulectomies, sinus surgery, and nasal septoplasties

  • Gastroenterology: Colonoscopy and EGD

  • General Surgery: Including hernia repair, breast biopsy, and laparoscopic procedures

  • Orthopaedics/Sports Medicine:

    • Arthroscopy knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, and hip

    • Fracture and tendon repairs, foot surgery

    • Achilles tendon repair and hand surgery, including carpal tunnel release and trigger finger surgery

  • Pain Medicine: Pain Management procedures

  • Plastic Surgery: Excision of lesions, rhinoplasty (nose), blepharoplasty (eyelid), liposuction, and breast augmentation

  • Podiatry: Bunionectomy and hammertoe repair

  • Urology: Including vasectomies
