Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics HIV Program move

Manchester Clinic HIV Program patients, please note that effective Monday, April 1, we will be caring for patients at a new location:

Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Specialty Care at
Bedford Medical Park

Bedford, NH 03110

If you have an appointment scheduled at the Manchester Clinic on or after Monday, April 1, it will take place at 5 Washington Place in Bedford.

The HIV Program, also called the HOPE Program (HIV care, Opportunity, Prevention, and Education), offers services in New Hampshire and Vermont. We collaborate with the Vermont Comprehensive Care Clinic to provide HIV care in Brattleboro, Vermont.

To determine which location is best for you, please call the Bedford HIV Program.

New patients

At your first appointment, we will ask you questions designed to evaluate your symptoms and discuss your goals. We may also perform tests to make an evaluation of your condition. You may meet with more than one provider, depending on your specific clinical situation.

Our consultation with you may include a program orientation, reviewing films, test results, treatment options, a discussion of medication management, physical therapy, and patient education.

Insurance and billing questions

Some health insurance policies require that you have a referral from your family doctor (primary care provider, or PCP) to make an appointment. We accept most types of insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. If you do not have insurance we will help you apply for assistance through the Ryan White CARE Program or our Financial Assistance Policy.

Returning patients

If you are a returning patient, you may use myDH to communicate securely with your providers, request or change appointments, review your medical record, and more. You may also call us at our Bedford HIV Program phone number.
