Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Chief Financial Officer and Dartmouth Health System Vice President of Finance
Tamara Rockwell, MHCDS, was named chief financial officer for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics and system vice president of finance for Dartmouth Health in March 2026. In her role, Rockwell works closely with leaders across Dartmouth Health to guide financial strategy, planning and performance for DHMC and support the long-term financial health of the Dartmouth Health system.
Rockwell brings more than two decades of experience at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics, where she has served in a variety of leadership roles in finance and administration. Since 2022, she has served as vice president of financial planning and analysis, leading the team responsible for financial planning, forecasting and analytics for DHMC and Clinics. In that role, Rockwell has helped guide key financial decisions and strengthen the financial foundation that supports Dartmouth Health’s clinical, research and education missions.
Throughout her career at Dartmouth Health, Rockwell has been a trusted partner to clinical and operational leaders. She has worked closely with departments across the organization to develop financial strategies, evaluate new programs and services, and support data-driven decision-making. Her deep understanding of the organization and commitment to collaboration have helped teams across DHMC advance their goals while maintaining strong financial stewardship.
Rockwell joined Dartmouth Hitchcock in 2005 and has held roles including director of finance for clinical operations, manager of clinical finance and senior financial analyst. Earlier in her career, she served in leadership roles supporting faculty affairs and operations.
Rockwell holds a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Michael’s College. She is also actively involved in professional and community organizations across the Upper Valley.
A longtime New Hampshire resident, Rockwell lives in the Upper Valley with her husband, their three children. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, taking advantage of everything New England’s four seasons have to offer, and caring for their pets.
